Excellent value, and beautiful accomodations. The units (sides A+B) have been profesionally decorated and provide great amenities. (Snorkle gear, boogie boards, tons of local info) The unit (213) is owned/managed by a local woman that lives in Kapaa. The website is www.kauaicalls.com. If you go through (other agency), you will probably pay a ton more, for a more run down unit. My advice is to rent from the above mentioned site." visitors’ commentsOnce again we find ourselves on beautiful Kauai, and once again we agonize over our leaving. The North Shore has completely captivated our family. We love everything about it... The people, the mountains, the rain, the sun, the landscape, the scent of the air, the ocean, the pristine beaches, the food... We adore it all and are so sad to leave. We couldn't have asked for a more special and enchanting time here. We richly enjoyed the island - sunrise to sunset - and the stars beyond that even! KE'E Beach remains a favorite of ours along with beautiufl Hideaways. We also discovered the falls at Hanakapaii and got to experience that Jungle Hike even with our 2 Keiki's - that was an adventure! Being at (Sweet Dreams) Hale Moi has been like a coming home of sorts - we experienced all the familiar and wonderful smells and comfort that we so fondly remember. Candace - again - has been both gracious and so accommodating to our family. We are blessed to be able to return - and hopefully will be returning to Hale Moi on Kauai year after year. We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Candace as our gracious host, and beautiful Hale Moi as our little home away from home on Kauai! Thank you Candace! Until next time - Erika, Brian, Sophia and Eli Your welcoming condo is in a beautiful setting! We enjoyed the view of the mountains, waterfalls and birds from the lanai. We really appreciated the great location, the comfortable beds and all the beach gear. Your many “extras” helped make our stay in Kauai convenient & fun! We love Kauai and look forward to coming back soon! The K’s, Chicago Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time last week. Kauai is truly an incredible island and we can't wait to plan our next trip back, probably in 2 years. We will definitely be looking to book another week with you when that happens because we thought the condo was awesome. Great location, comfortable, nice decor and truly became a home away from home. Thank you for everything. Mahalo for everything. Can't wait until we're back on the island. I'll let anybody I knew who plans a trip to the island to drop you an email for info. R.V. MD, CA When we left Colorado, we had 10" of snow and it hadn't been above freezing for over a week! Talk about felling like you've come to Paradise! Kauai is one of our favorite places in the world, and we always look forward to returning. Tunnels Beach is one of our favorites, though winter surf makes it less desirable for swimming/snorkeling. We also love Ke'e. The hike on the Kalalau Trail is really spectacular, but difficult at best, and can really be nasty when wet. Well worth the effort, but be advised. The Friday night seafood buffet at the Princeville Hotel is fantasic (pricey at $65.00), and a beautiful property. We're going to spend a week on the South Shore before saying Aloha and home for christmas. Our time at Hale Moi was wonderful, the unit was especially well done, and the arrangements flawless. Would highly recommend it, and will return. Mahalo to Candace and Staff. Mele Kalikimaka and Aloha, S & N, Montrose, CO Just loved the island! We did quite a few things. Went hiking at Haena State Park, went snorkeling at Tunnels beach, Poipu Beach & Hideaways Beach, went driving to Waimea Canyon, and lastly went kayaking on the Wailua River. We love seafood! So, we had shrimps, ahi and salmon everyday. Oh - papayas! 3 or 4 a day!! "Sweet Dreams" was quite beautiful. We would recommend anyone to stay here and possibly come back! Kauai is simply the best island! Candace, thank you for everything. Mahalo! Frank & Laura, San Francisco, www.amazingfantasy.com...new website will soon to come. Thank you Candace - Loved Hale Moi! Thanks for your warm welcome. Big Mahalo, D. G., Seattle "Kauaiian wannabe" Mahalo, Candace! Had a wonderful time in this beautifully appointed condo. How I appreciate the textiles, good quality sheets & towels are important! It is so hard to leave now... Just one more hike on Na Pali, one more day at KE'E Beach... this is an island that is easy to fall in love with, and very hard to leave. E.P., Maui I will miss waking up to the view of Bali Hai most of all! What a beautiful place - I can finally say I have experienced Paradise! The memories I take back with me are countless - KE'E Beach and the Na Pali Coast, discovering the Bamboo Grove, kayaking on the Wailua River and the hike to Secret Falls, the helicopter ride, Hideaway's Beach and Queen's Bath, Koala, Hanapepe, the banana and macadamia nut pancakes at Eggberts with coconut syrup, the hike down to Opaeka'a Falls (yes - you can hike down but take the trail to the left where the sign is posted not to enter) and on and on. Thank you Candace for the beautiful surroundings but thank you most of all for the peace and serenity. B.K., Omaha, NE What a wonderful stay our family has experienced on Kauai! Our two week vacation in Paradise has absolutely flown by, and every moment of it has been fabulous! We never even left the North Shore; the beaches were to beautiful to stay away from even for a day. The mountains, the sunshine, the ocean, all the wonderful culture of Hawaii - it all combines to make a dreamland that no one wants to leave. Including us! The condo couldn't have been more perfect, it is both beautiful and comfortable - so tastefully decorated. We enjoyed every minute of our time in it. We felt like we were in our own home, we had everything we needed - and Candace couldn't have been more gracious. We will certainly be returning - hopefully, very soon!! We are so sad to leave but have such sweet memories of our stay. Until next time - Aloha - back to Colorado we go. E, B & S K. We came here for our Honeymoon and couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. The decorating is such a nice mix of luxury and laid back Hawaiian culture. The location is perfect - there's so much to do on the North Shore, we spent all but 2 days here. It was wonderful to have so much provided for us that made it easy to do whatever - There's already suba gear, a cooler---everything we needed. We did lots of hiking on the Na Pali Coast, saw plenty of beautiful waterfalls, hit Queen's Bath twice that was one of our favorites, Kiluaea Lighthouse, went canoeing on the Wailua River... We had a blast...Thanks Candace for making it all possible. F & C We first came to Kauai as a couple for our Honeymoon in '88 and stayed at the Coco Palms. Kauai will always be a restful, peaceful, adventureous place like no other. We enjoyed our stay - this time we met up w/my sister & her 4 year old. what a great trip! Enjoyed snorkeling at KE'E Beach, swimming at Tunnels - lunch at Polynesia Cafe* in Hanelei - Shave ice at Wishing Well - Kilauea Bakery is so good... this place is lovely - really enjoyed all the amenities & friendly professionalism & "Aloha" spirit of Candace! We will definitely come back & stay again. Aloha! M & D, CA and B & L, NY *Try Lighthouse Bistro - Kilauea!! Our family came here for my parents anniversary, kind of weird but oh well. The view is amazing and we enjoyed staying here so much. If you want a great place to snorkel go to KE'E Beach. It was the best for seeing amazing fish. There were so many to see, it was awesome, don't miss it. On the way to the beach there are a bunch of caves. There is a pretty cool one, it's called, The Blue Room. You have to hike a little ways up a hill and then down a little ways and after that you can jump in the ice cold water which is quite refreshing after a long day at the beach. Overall, our stay was great and we enjoyed the hospitality of our hostess. This was probably the best vacation my family has ever had and I doubt if Kauai has seen the last of us. The S. Family, Placentia, CA We've come here for our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. The unit is decorated so nicely and we loved the location. We especially enjoyed Hideaways Beach, Waimea Canyon, kayaking with Kayak Wailua, and no trains! This trip will be one that we won't soon forget. We are grateful to Candace for being such a friendly and helpful hostess. Thank you for this little slice of heaven and you should know that Kauai hasn't seen the last of us! :) Sincerely, S and K, Cayahoga Falls, OH (There aren't any tropical waterfalls there (in OH!) A beautiful, comfortable "home away from home" - georgious decor and thoughtfully furnished. Candace, you are a gracious hostess, and we appreciate you. A (Mimi) As experienced Kauai vacationers, we are pleased to report, that as expected we hit perfect weather, great beach and diving conditions, and met some colorful and insightful local folks. Hale Moi is the first place we ever stayed at in 1985 on Kauai, so it was a bit of de ja vu...leaving as usual with a bit of a heavy heart, like leaving a loved one, and would have liked to stay much longer - next time! Thanks for your warm hospitality, beautifully decorated unit, and your professionalism. Mahalo, P & L, Eugene, OR |
