This is my first time in Hawaii, and I'm sure I came to the most beautiful island! Coming from unbearably frigid sub-zero temperatures in northwestern Illinois to these lovely warm breezes and delightful warmth has been healing for my body, mind and spirit. We had the best time here. Lots of fun and good times! Your place is gorgeous and very comfy and the lanai is a perfect place to relax with a cold one (or two). Snorkeling, swimming, paddle surfing, shopping & beach hopping. We loved waking up with the roosters (no need for an alarm clock) and the spectacular view! Thank you so much Candace for everything. Aloha! What can I say? Our trip was perfect. We still have one day left and we are hoping to kayak down Hanalei River. Everything here at Secret Princess is lovely! One night we awoke to see waterfalls had appeared all over our backyard mountains. We are both college students, and we couldn't have asked for a more affordable and beautiful place to stay. For those who follow - Don't miss the Kalalau trail to the Na Pali Coast. We hiked it the first day (or at least the first 2 miles) It's a bit tough, but we were getting passed by 10 year olds! The Waimaea Canyon was also incredible. Thank you so much Candace - E & C, Sherman Oaks, CA

It is our last day here and we couldn't be more sad to leave. This has been the most amazing vacation for both of us. The North Shore is so beautiufl and we felt so lucky to have found Candace's "Secret Princess" to stay at. The condo was so perfect for us, so clean, an amazing view of the mountains and in such a great location! Princeville is so wonderful and the quaint town of Hanalei is just perfect. We loved driving to Hanalei for dinner at the Polynesian Cafe, such amazing food, the fish is so fresh and you can BYOB! The Napali Riders tour of the Napali Coast was our favorite with kayaking the Wailua River a very close secondo! Candace was so amazing to work with, she is so sweet and helpful, our stay would not have been the same with her! The best part of our trip was that on our second night we got engaged, and that memory and moment here on the North Shore of Kauai - I will always have, I couldn't have imagined it anymore perfect. We will be back someday to enjoy all this beautiful island has to offer but until then - to all that stay here at the "Secret Princess" enjoy your time, the beautiful view, fresh air and feel the magic of Kauai...The future Mrs. E L, San Diego, CA.

Thanks for making everything so easy for us during our stay. The champagne was great. The Secret Princess is within walking distance at a couple of great surf spots which I loved. Candace, Thank you so much for letting us stay in the beautiful place. The view is breathtaking and the area is so peaceful. It's exactly how we needed to end our vacation! The Lighthouse was a cute place to see and stopping at the fruit stands for some apple bananas was great. Pineapples every night were a great way to unwind. Got to see Waimaea Canyon where we did some biking and off-roading with the jeep. the beaches at Poipu were really beautiful. The view along the Na Pali Coast was breathtaking (everyone should hike here!). Also got to see the Smith Luau (awesome food and mai tai's). They had a great show and the food was delicious! The only thing we wish we could have done was hike in Alakai Swamp. Maybe next time! Thanks again candace! Mahalo! N & C, WI

We're spending the first couple of nights here, and the rest of the week next door in Sweet Dreams. It's been great so far! We love the water and found Anini Beach and snorkeled all we wanted there. It was beyond words!! We saw turtles every day, sting rays, tons of fish, corals, etc. int he calm waters of Anini. Enjoyed Waimea Canyon drive one day, light house another and exploring all over. Ate the best coconut shrimp @ Shrimp Station, macadamia nut pancakes @ Kountry Kitchen and Pizza & pie @ Kilauea Bakery and Pau Hana Pizza Call in the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook). Thanks Candace for the beautiful home away from home - it didn't feel like a hotel at all, it felt like home. Mahalo A & M, Live Oak, CA

We originally came for a friend's wedding at the Princeville Hotel. Little did we know the treasures we would find. The Secret Beach was gorgeous and provided us with a very nice time snorkeling in the lava pool. Thanks so much for leaving the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook as we used it well to not only find the Secret Beach (pg. 104) but also the beautiful Lighthouse and the Waimea Canyon. The Kilauea Bakery on the way to the Lighthouse had wonderful lunch, great soups and baked items... We had a wonderful, relaxing time here - could not have been better. The location is ideal!
