Beautiful unit in an incredible location!

We loved the beautiful unit which is on the ground floor facing the ocean. The spacious 2-bedroom unit was perfect for the 6 of us (the 2 children slept in the living room on the pull-out sofa). The unit is fully equipped with kitchen dishes, pots, and pans. Safeway, Starbucks, and Subway are walking distance right across the street.
The concierge was extremely helpful in booking our three excursions. We highly recommend the Smith Luau because of its beautiful grounds and wonderful program. The concierge arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the resort. The five-hour kayaking/hiking adventure on the Wailua River was quite an adventure. I would not recommend if it has recently rained because the trail would be muddy and slippery. If you go on a boat tour, such as whale watching, be sure to go on one which goes by the Napali coast as the coastline is incredible to see.
For our next trip to Kauai, we will certainly hope to return to this unit at the Waipouli Beach Resort!!!
