ALOHA! Welcome to Secret Princess aka Hale Moi 213 B Studio House Rules

  • Check out time is 10:00 a.m.
  • Physical Address is: 5301 Ka Haku Road, Hale Moi #213 Side B, Princeville, HI 96722.
  • CONSERVATION OF ELECTRICITY: Please turn off fans, lights and pull the blinds shut if you wish to keep the Studio cool when you go out. Many people on the mainland do not realize Hawaii has the highest utility rate of all 50 states.
  • CONSIDERATION AND COOPERATION of all guests is requested at all times. Keep sounds to a moderate level during daytime hours. Minimum sound levels shall be maintained from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. in keeping with Princeville town rules. This is in consideration for the neighbors.
  • Parking for Hale Moi #213, Side B is in any of the spaces marked “PERMIT” and is on a first come first serve basis. Please note: the parking permit will be in the Studio, note that it must be displayed in your car while parked at Hale Moi. There are “PERMIT” parking spaces provided all along the Hale Moi complex.
  • THE CONDO AND ENTIRE CONDO COMPLEX INCLUDING THE PARKING LOTS ARE NON-SMOKING. IF CITED, THE FINE IS HUGE AND WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR CC ON FILE.
  • PLEASE RETURN A KEY TO THE LOCK BOX. This is in case you lose or leave the key inside. PLEASE CONTACT Candace as soon as possible if one or more keys are lost so a replacement is made available for next guests.
  • When leaving the condo, please LOCK AND CLOSE ALL DOORS.
  • It is HAWAIIAN CUSTOM TO REMOVE SHOES BEFORE ENTERING. This is to keep the red dirt and sand to a minimum inside the condo and to avoid extra cleaning fees (carpet cleaning, etc.) deducted from the security deposit.
  • BEACH GEAR including beach towels and beach mats are provided for your use:

    BEACH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED; PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE BATH TOWELS TO THE BEACH.

    PLEASE CLEAN OFF ALL BEACH GEAR AFTER EACH USE WITH THE WATER FAUCET IN FRONT OF 213 AND ALLOW TO DRY THOROUGHLY BEFORE RETURNING TO THE CLOSET

    IF THERE IS DAMAGE TO BEACH GEAR PLEASE LET CANDACE KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO REPLACEMENTS CAN BE PLACED BEFORE NEXT GUESTS.
  • Due to the potential fire hazard, GRILLING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE CONDO OR ON THE LANAI AT HALE MOI. NO GRILL OR CAMPING FUEL ALLOWED. THERE IS A PROPANE (CHARCOAL okay if propane has run out) GRILL BETWEEN BUILDINGS 5 & 6.
  • A current inventory list of everything in the condo is kept and if any inventory is MISSING OR DAMAGED please contact Candace so replacements placed in the studio before next guests – Mahalo!
  • Guests are KINDLY ASKED TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH DAILY to the dumpster to avoid attracting insects.
  • Check out instructions:
    a. Return keys: one set of keys must be in the lock box and the other set on the kitchen counter.

    b. Please return the parking permit to the condo.

    c. Turn off fans and all lights; close and lock all doors.

    d. Take the trash out to the bin. Note: Food left will be donated and is greatly appreciated.

    e. Before taking off for the airport, check the trunk of your car for any beach gear and / or the cooler.
